About Douglas
Doug Padden AIF®, co-founder of Boston Retirement Group (BRG), has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and is highly skilled in wealth management, asset allocation, and retirement income planning. Prior to founding BRG, Doug was a financial advisor with Alpha Pension Group focusing on new plan acquisition, executive planning, and employee education. He got his start as a retirement specialist with Fidelity Investments, implementing retirement plans for some of the largest companies in the country.
As a Wealth Advisor, Doug helps families plan for successful and secure financial futures. He is purposeful and thoughtful in his approach, giving clients the confidence to focus on what they value most: their families. Doug knows first-hand that life can throw some curve balls. After his dad passed away unexpectedly, he quickly learned the importance of holistic, prudent financial planning—and the impact that can have on a family. He is committed to helping each of his clients plan for and manage their unique financial journey.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University and played on the men’s lacrosse team. A native of Newton, MA, Doug currently resides in Wayland, MA with his wife Robyn and their three children. He loves spending time with his family, coaching, exploring, running, and cooking up culinary feasts. An avid sports fan, Doug plays lacrosse and golf.
